I joined the BGSS Board in 2023 and have enjoyed every minute of it. My husband and I have lived in Silver Springs for decades and raised our family here. We have been fortunate to have great friends in the neighbourhood. Getting involved with the Botanical Gardens has further strengthened our roots in the community.

I trained as an ecologist a long time ago and have worked in the area of environmental biology all my career. Over many decades, I’ve served on a wide variety of Boards, ranging from not-for-profits boards like BGSS, to boards that were public, private and crown agencies. I’m thrilled to be a part of the BGSS volunteer group and look forward to learning lots from the outstanding gardeners who generously and patiently share their wisdom and enthusiasm during the garden season.
